Temitope Isedowo

Director of Programmes at AfriLabs

Temitope is the Director of Programmes at AfriLabs where he is in charge of designing and leading the team to implement projects and programmes within AfriLabs and with our partners. 

He is a trained and certified project manager with hands-on experience in Project and Technology Management. He has over 8 years of experience designing and leading projects across Africa, and 10 years of writing, research and product testing projects for individuals, organizations and governments.

Temitope is also a certified Data and Design Thinking Professional with an online certificate in Design Thinking from Stanford University, where he has also received on-campus training in entrepreneurship organized by Stanford BASES (Business Association of Stanford Entrepreneurial Students).

He was the pioneer Operations Director of Wennovation Hub, Nigeria’s premier startup accelerator and also a Consultant in the African tech and entrepreneurial ecosystem and has led projects sponsored by the Open Society Initiative for West Africa (OSIWA), Making All Voices Count, Microsoft 4Afrika etc.

Temitope has received numerous technology leadership, writing and travel scholarship awards including the Nigeria-America Partnership Award by the United States Consulate in Nigeria, Obafemi Awolowo University Golden Jubilee Essay Competition Award organized by Jury Press, The Nation Newspapers National Essay Competition Award 2012, the World Bank International Essay Competition Award 2008 and 2009, Obafemi Awolowo University Travel Scholarship Award (2011 and 2012), the Ingenius Youth Travel Scholarship Award (2013), among many others. He is a Leaders Africa Fellow of the Obama Foundation and a Fellow of the Frances Hesselbein Leadership Institute (via the Hesselbein Academy, University of Pittsburgh).

He has served as Advisory Panel Member of the Queen’s Young Leaders Programme.

He holds a B.Sc. in Economics from Obafemi Awolowo University and is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration from Nexford University.
