Linda Kwamboka

Linda is a Founder and Director at MFarm Limited, with more than 7 years entrepreneurship experience. MFarm is a virtual cooperative that connects farmers to markets, while providing necessary support from production, trade information to market fulfillment. While other farmers have doubled their income through MFarm’s support, market understanding by farmers has been the greatest contribution to trading farm produce. Her work with the Chicago Council on Global Affairs as a task force member, has put focus on Youth Livelihoods in Agriculture, to which she contributed in publishing a paper on the same. 

She is an entrepreneur in-residence at Strathmore University – Manager @iBizAfrica, where she supports both early stage businesses and investors interested in this stage of risk ventures. Her experience includes pipeline creation for pre-seed investments and guiding founders on the use of research as the foundation for disruptive commercial ventures with well understood problem/opportunity, right team composition and right user/customer combination to build a strong business foundation. 

Linda is a trained venture capital professional from Stanford University and a graduate of Business Information Technology, from Strathmore University. It is in University, where she developed the passion for entrepreneurship to found MFarm as well as develop the interest to support other entrepreneurs. She founded the Student Enterprise Program, which has grown to iBizAfrica, an incubation Centre within University that has incubated over 300 businesses
