Eva Sow Ebion

Co-founder, Kinaya Ventures

As a seasoned tech ecosystem specialist, Eva has an extensive experience helping African startups to grow and showcasing Francophone Africa entrepreneurial scenes. She brought support to nearly 20 tech startups over her 5 years at the startup incubator CTIC Dakar where she was in charge of business development and coached more than 1500 project leaders during BootCamps and training sessions.
She has organized 50+ tech events in Francophone West Africa to build a bridge between local startup ecosystems and large corporates such as Orange, Facebook, Tigo, Société Générale, Total, or institutional partners such as the French Embassy in Senegal, the Indian Embassy in Senegal, GIZ, the World Bank and British Council.

As a member of various selection boards, mentor, trainer, and coach, Eva hopes to help grow local startups and showcase the Senegalese entrepreneurial scene. She dreams of concretizing the implementation of Malaaka, a Business Angel Club in Senegal, and to participate in mobilizing local capital for innovative initiatives in sub-Saharan Africa. Member of i4Policy, Eva was at the initiative of the Dakar Policy Hackathon, a bottom-up approach for the adoption of a Startup Act in Senegal.

She is also the co-founder of Kinaya Ventures, an innovation platform and ecosystem enabler devoted to creating valuable partnerships between large corporates and startups, and catalyzing open innovation, corporate innovation, seed funding and angel investing in Francophone Africa.
