Caroline Gaju is an Engineering Professional and currently serves as Programme Officer at the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) Regional Office for Africa. Her experience spans some of the largest Mobile Network Operators (MNOs) which include Airtel, MTN, and Zain where she was pivotal in delivering various projects for over seven years.
She has previously held positions that include Network Manager; Value Added Services and Intelligent Network (VAS and IN) during which she was the Project Lead on system capacity expansions through software and hardware upgrades, engaging with various vendors such as Ericsson and Comviva. She has also worked as a High-Level Support Engineer where she oversaw maintenance and system performance functions on the Charging System and Value Added Services within the network.
Caroline holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Telecommunications Engineering, is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and has a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Engineering Project Management from the University of Manchester, United Kingdom.
