2019 Annual gathering

The AfriLabs Annual Gathering provides a unique opportunity for tech hubs in the AfriLabs network and other stakeholders in the African tech ecosystem like local innovators (entrepreneurs), corporates, investors, academia and developmental agencies to convene, network and share knowledge.

The 4th edition of the AfriLabs Annual Gathering in partnership with the African Union Commission Department of Human Resource, Science and Technology is themed ‘Connect: Towards an Integrated Innovation Ecosystem’. The event will be taking place from 28th – 30th October 2019 at the African Union Commission Headquarters in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia with Tech Village and xHub as hub host. Also, the AfriLabs Annual General Meeting is scheduled for 27th October 2019 before the Gathering.

The 3-day Gathering will feature panel discussions, keynote addresses, multiple parallel workshops, local ecosystem tours, networking sessions, and open-floor exhibitions.
